labor law 24 police injured, three very seriously in Paris – Le Figaro

Since March 9, opponents of the labor bill have repeatedly beating the pavement, sometimes employees and students together, sometimes only the young, to request its removal. Here is a reminder of the mobilizations:
o 9 March : first protest in the street to the call of seven unions (CGT, Solidaires, FSU ) and youth (UNEF, SGL, UNL, LDIFs), with almost 200 rallies and strike calls; 224,000 people according to the authorities, between 400,000 and 500,000 according to organizers. In Paris, the police headquarters counts 27,000 to 29,000 demonstrators
o 17 March . Youth mobilization despite several amendments made to the text 14. The authorities count 69,000 demonstrators across France, including 9,000 in Paris. The day is called a “success” by the UNEF, which counts 150,000 people. The day is punctuated by incidents, including Paris, Rennes and Marseille

o 24 March . The day of its presentation to the Council of Ministers, the project is in the street about 43,000 young people (mainly), 4,800 of which 5,200 in Paris, according to the Ministry of Interior. The organizers do not provide estimates.

Some parades degenerate including Paris, Nantes and Rouen (forty inquiries). A Parisian high school student was severely beaten by a peacekeeper and the scene was filmed, widely circulated on social networks. The officer will be tried on May 12 for voluntary violence.
o March 31 : new day of action at the invitation of the Inter (employees and youth). The number of protesters dual compared to 9 March: around 390,000 people in 250 cities, according to authorities. 1.2 million according to the organizers. The Ministry of Education lists 170 schools blocked (in 2500). Incidents broke out between masked protesters and security forces, notably in Paris, Rennes, Grenoble and Nantes. Result: hundreds of arrests and thirty wounded (mostly police). In Paris, where the police headquarters reported 26,000 to 28,000 protesters, is launched in the evening the “night stand” Republic Square “citizens’ assembly” in line with the “Indignados” Spanish.

o 5 April : youth organizations called scrolling. Some 23,800 people demonstrated throughout France, including Paris in 3200-3400, according to the authorities, with incidents in Paris, Rennes and Lyon and 177 arrests in total, mainly for “identity verification”. A handful of young people are prosecuted.

The administration identifies 34 high schools blocked. The “Night standing” extends to several cities like Rennes, Nantes, Toulouse and Lyon
o 9 April . New unitary day of action trade unions and students. The processions gather 120,000 people throughout France, including 18,000 to 20,000 in Paris, according to the Ministry of Interior, while unions identify 110,000 participants in the capital. Violence on the sidelines of events, including Paris, Nantes, Rennes, leading to 27 arrests

o 14 April . New youth events in different cities, 1,700 of which in Paris yet once glazed incidents and clashes with police.
